Taylor Swift debuts a sneak peek of her re-recorded rendition of the “Reputation” track “Look What You Made Me Do,” now titled “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version),” within the teaser for Prime Video UK’s series “Wilderness.”

Scheduled for a global premiere on September 15, this thrilling series stars Jenna Coleman, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ashley Benson, and Eric Balfour. The teaser cleverly employs “Look What You Made Me Do” to underscore the transformation of Liv (portrayed by Coleman) as she grapples with the revelation of her husband Will’s (played by Jackson-Cohen) extramarital affair.

As detailed in the show’s official plot synopsis, Liv evolves into the protagonist of Will’s nightmarish visions after her discovery of his betrayal. Her anguish swiftly morphs into seething anger. The couple embarks on a long-imagined cross-country journey across iconic American destinations, ranging from the Grand Canyon to Yosemite, culminating in a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas. While this journey represents a chance for Will to mend their relationship, for Liv, it’s an opportunity of a different nature—a realm where unexpected events unfold frequently. It becomes the perfect backdrop for seeking vengeance. The phrase “Look what he made her do…” encapsulates the tone of her intentions.

Swift is no newcomer to Prime Video collaborations, having seen her music integrated into the streaming platform’s youth drama series “The Summer I Turned Pretty.” In a June trailer for the show, she offered a preview of “Back to December (Taylor’s Version)” from her re-recorded album “Speak Now,” which was released on July 7. Swift’s upcoming re-recorded project, “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” is set to debut on October 27.

“Wilderness” emerges from the creative mind of Marnie Dickens and is inspired by B.E. Jones’ novel. The series is directed by So Yong Kim and benefits from the executive production of Elizabeth Kilgarriff.
