Alienware is introducing a new variant of its 500Hz gaming monitor featuring AMD FreeSync Premium technology.

During the CES event in January, Alienware took the wraps off its pioneering 500Hz Fast IPS monitor, tailored for top-tier gaming performance. The renowned Dell subsidiary is now poised to unveil an upgraded iteration of this display specifically catered to users equipped with AMD graphics cards.

The AW2524HF monitor, as acknowledged by Alienware, boasts the coveted AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync endorsements, ensuring a gaming experience devoid of tearing and stuttering. With an impressively rapid response time of 0.5ms, Alienware claims to have eradicated motion blur and ghosting effects, promising pristine visuals.

This HDR10-compatible monitor exhibits a remarkable 99 percent sRGB color gamut coverage. The Fast IPS panel technology is lauded for maintaining consistent image quality from diverse viewing angles. Furthermore, Alienware asserts that the ComfortView Plus hardware, certified by TUV, not only minimizes potentially harmful low blue light emissions but also preserves lifelike color accuracy.

Designed for convenience, the monitor incorporates a retractable hanger to stow your headset and a hexagonal base with adjustable height, crafted to optimize desk space. On the connectivity front, users can benefit from two DisplayPort 1.4 slots, one HDMI 2.1 port, and five USB 3.2 interfaces.

Starting September 12th, the AW2524HF monitor will be available for purchase on Dell’s official website, retailing at $650. Alienware intends to unveil pricing and availability information for the UK market at a later date.
